My meaning for Eid-ul-Fitr......Ultimate Travel Jockey

Eid-ul-Fitr literally means 'festival of breaking the fast'.
Lets celebrate this Eid together in sha ALLAH...

Eid Mubarak to whole Muslim Ummah ;) & Let us thank ALLAH for the help and strength that he gave us throughout the the month of Ramadan to help us practise self-control..

ALLAHO-AKBAR, ALLAHO-AKBAR. LA ILA-HA-ILL-LAL-LAH.ALLAHO-AKBAR,ALLAHO-AKBAR.WA-LILLAHILL HAMD
(ALLAH is great, ALLAH is great. There is no god but ALLAH.ALLAH is great, ALLAH is great. And all praises are for ALLAH).

Lailatul Qadr (Night of Power)
Lailatul Qadr (Night of Power)
There is night in the month of Ramadhan which is better than a thousand months (83 years, 4 months). This night is called Laitatul Qadr.

According to Hadith, this night occurs during the last ten days of Ramadhan on one of the odd numbered nights. Usually it is celebrated on the 27th night of this holy month. It is a night of great importance and enormous blessings for Muslims.

A night such as Lailatul Qadr was not granted to any religious community (Ummah) before Muslims. Only the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were favoured with a night of huge reward. Once reason, it was granted, was to enable Muslims to equal the worship of any people who lived before us. In the distant past it is said that people lived very long lives of hundreds of years.

We, today, live much shorter lives. And so Allah gave us Laitatul Qadr to enable us to do as much worship as a man who lived even hundreds of years longer. If in a lifetime, you only worshipped on Lailatul Qadr ten times, you would have equaled in those ten nights 833 years of worship. Signs of Laitul Qadr There are some signs that reveal which night is Laitatul Qadr. The night will be peaceful, neither hot nor cold, with a clear moon shinning but with no rays.

There will be no shooting stars in the night At sunrise the sun will rise as just a disc without and radiant beams of light. One companion of the Prophet reported that on Laitatul Qadr he tasted sea water and it was sweet.

Bharat ::: World called it INDIA

The Cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand mother of tradition....

"Civilizations have arisen in other parts of the world. In ancient and modern times, wonderful ideas have been carried forward from one race to another...But mark you, my friends, it has been always with the blast of war trumpets and the march of embattled cohorts. Each idea had to be soaked in a deluge of blood..... Each word of power had to be followed by the groans of millions, by the wails of orphans, by the tears of widows. This, many other nations have taught; but India for thousands of years peacefully existed. Here activity prevailed when even Greece did not exist... Even earlier, when history has no record, and tradition dares not peer into the gloom of that intense past, even from until now, ideas after ideas have marched out from her, but every word has been spoken with a blessing behind it and peace before it. We, of all nations of the world, have never been a conquering race, and that blessing is on our head, and therefore we live....!"

Swami Vivekananda, Great Indian Philosopher

My Bharat ::::: Your India ----Ultimately its Just amazing in world

India shares borders to the northwest with Pakistan, to the north with China, Nepal and Bhutan, and to the east with Bangladesh and Myanmar. To the west lies the Arabian Sea, to the east the Bay of Bengal and to the south the Indian Ocean. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are Indian Territory but lie off the coast of Thailand in the Bay of Bengal. Sri Lanka lies off the southeast coast, and the Maldives off the southwest coast.
The far north-eastern states and territories are all but separated from the rest of India by Bangladesh as it extends northwards from the Bay of Bengal towards Bhutan. India is separated from the rest of Asia by mountain ranges, forest, and desert -the Himalayan mountain range in the north, the Thar Desert in the west and the Chin Hills and Pataki ranges in the east. The Indus River runs through the northern disputed territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The most sacred of rivers, the Ganges, is in the east.

Best time to visit:

The weather is mainly hot most of the year with significant variations from region to region. The coolest weather lasts from around the end of November to the beginning of March, with fresh mornings and evenings, and mostly sunny days. The really hot weather, when it is dry, dusty and unpleasant, is between March and June. Monsoon rains occur in most regions in summer anywhere between June and early October.
Splendid Northern India: Srinagar is best from March to October; July to August can be cold and damp in winter. Shimla is higher and therefore colder in winter. Places like Gulmarg, Manali and Pahalgam are usually under several feet of snow from December to March and temperatures in Ladakh, which is a high-altitude desert, can be extremely cold. The mountain passes of Ladakh are accessible from July to October. Cities like New Delhi, Varanasi, Lucknow and Patna experience an extreme range of temperatures and are typically warm from April to mid-June, falling to almost freezing at night in winter between November and February. Summers are hot with monsoons between June and September.

Central India: Madhya Pradesh state escapes the very worst of the hot season, but monsoons are heavy between July and September. Temperatures fall at night in winter.

Western India: November to February is most comfortable, although evenings can be fairly cold. Summers can be extremely hot with monsoon rainfall between mid June and mid September.

Eastern India: Weather in states like Orissa (which is flood-prone) are defined by cooler weather from October to February, scorching heat from March to May and unavoidable drenching from the monsoons from June to October. Northeast: March to June and September to November are the driest and most pleasant periods. The rest of the year has extremely heavy monsoon rainfall.

Southern India: The most pleasant weather is from November to March. Monsoon rains fall anywhere between late April and July. Summer temperatures are not as high as Northern India although humidity is extreme. The coast benefits from some cooling breezes. Inland, Mysore and Bijapur have pleasant climates with relatively low rainfall. Tamil Nadu experiences a northeast monsoon between October and December and temperatures and humidity are high all year. The hills can be cold in winter.

Mausoleum for husband: A memory place built by a woman in memory of her loving husband in Najibabad

This is not a very well known story--that of a wife building a monument in memory of her husband. The mausoleum stands amid ruins in the historic Najibabad town in Bijnore district in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. Unlike the story of Taj Mahal, which is famous across the world, and which was built by a husband in memory of his wife, the 'Chahar Minar' or 'Char Minar' in Najibabad, is a mausoleum which is testimony to a woman's love for her late husband.
She was no ordinary woman--the wife of a Nawab. She got the monument constructed to immortalize her husband who had died young. The tomb was built in memory of Nawab Jahangir Khan, the king of Najibuddaula--the founder of Rohilla dynasty at Najibabad.

Historians say Nawab Jahangir Khan was married in Kotra in Kiratpur. Two years after the marriage, once when he had gone to get back his wife, he died in a mishap. During the celebratory fireworks on his visit, a 'gola' (large crackers) hit him.

The death of her husband shattered his wife. The Begum, then built the 'maqbara' (tomb) in memory of her late husband, at Moazzampur Teligarhi on the outskirts of Najibabad.

The grave [Qabr] was in the middle under the big dome, with the four minarets around it, on four corners. The dome fell long back. The minarets stand tall even now. Each of these minarets is quite thick, three-floor tower, with staircase leading to the top.
The building made of 'lakhauri' has minarets separated from each other at a distance of 50 feet.  The unique structure is crumbling now.

Nomani wrote that it Sardari Begam had built the monument for her husband Jahangir Khan. Shouldn't such monuments be conserved?
Except Agra, the condition of numerous such monuments in districts of UP, remains pathetic.
Unlike the famous Taj Mahal, this monument is expression of a woman's love for her husband.

My Experience on Travelers - Ultimate Travel Jockey :-) India

After couple of travel with diff diff personalities of world's country, Allow me to quote Albert Einstein. His words describe my travel philosophy and much better than I can do so my humble English :-)

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is strangers, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose the holy curiosity.

This is how true traveller live his or her life, how they want work environment to be and how they travel. And this will always be what drives anyone, what sparks, what they are burning for. They are not made for tour group travel: they would scream and feel suffocated the whole time. They are not made for masses:  they would get claustrophobia. They are not made for discos and nightclubs: they would become deaf and blind.

A traveller who preferred travel style is to pack things, get on a plane, bus, train or in my car and start exploring. Exploring to world means that they try to immerse into a destination as much as possible, feel it, breathe the spirit it emanates, talk to the locals, or not talk at all, learn as much as they can from what surrounds them and enjoy the atmosphere of a local, region our country. This means that they try not to race through a place or a destination but stay there for a couple of days to get an idea of where they are and develop a feeling for the place.

Another reason why they like the lesser known destinations is very simple: they don’t like when places are being “reduced” to three or four famous destinations only. They are absolutely no “mainstream” traveller but do the things they like and very often they find the most marvellous sights. And this is why they won't stop to push on anything that is "custom made", in the original sense of the term :-)

Amarnath Yatra 2013 with Ultimate Yatra Jockey

As the name suggest Amarnath Yatra is an annual pilgrimage for the Hindus to the holy shrine of Amarnath Cave. This cave is devoted to Lord Shiva and is sited in the northern state i.e. Jammu & Kashmir of India. Every year devotees of Lord Shiva wait for this short time period i.e. from the month of May to August, when this holy shrine is opened by the Indian Government for the devotees to visit the main Amarnath temple.

The reason behind this restricted period is that the Amarnath cave is situated at a height of 3,888 m above the ground and is covered by snow during the year. It is only during summer the snow which has covered this holy cave, starts melting and due to this melting of snow from the rocks, an ice stalagmite form inside the cave.
This stalagmite inside the cave is considered to be SHIVLINGA, as described in the Hindu scriptures. After this summer season, this stalagmite or SHIVLINGA gradually wanes thereafter. There are other two ice formations found in the cave, one is considered to be Parvati and other is of Ganesha, lord Shiva’s son.
Being very soft hearted, Lord Shiva blesses his devotees and fulfill their wishes. So, even after reading such adverse weather conditions, you want to go for Amarnath Yatra 2013, have faith in Shiva and begin your journey to the holy shrine. Chant this holy mantra, “Jai Bholenath” and begin your Amarnath Yatra 2013.  All the best !!
